A short newsletter that provides new information whether clients are considering a startup; have started up in facct, or are established small businesses. The goal is that everyone learns something new in less than the 5 minutes it will take to actually skim through the newsletter. If nothing else, this monthly update will help clients and prospective clients better understand the services KOSBE offers. Each month, the newsletter features a project that KOSBE has helped a client carry out --much more than just lip service. ONGOING COLLABORATION WITH OTHER RESOURCE PARTNERS

KOSBE works collaboratively with other resource partners including the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), State of Tennessee Economic and Community Development Business Enterprise Resource Office (BERO), Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), Downtown Kingsport Association (DKA), SCORE, and the Tennessee Small Business Development Centers (TSBDC) to coordinate efforts to expand services and avoid duplication. Whenever possible, KOSBE fully utilizes the resources of other federal, state and local government agencies, and academic and private-sector programs that aid small businesses to provide seamless, non-duplicative, business-development assistance.
