  2. Request DUNS Number Online
  3. Obtain your NAICS code(s): www.census.gov/epcd/naics02/naicod02.htm
  4. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and CCR Handbook (mandatory registration database for contractors that want to do business with the US Dept. of Defense)
  5. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA)
  6. SBA SUB-Net Registration
  7. State of Tennessee Governor's Office of Diversity Business Enterprise Certification Application (PDF)
  8. Register with City of Kingsport/Kingsport City Schools (obtain form from KOSBE)
  9. Register with Sullivan County, Tenn.
  10. State of Tennessee Vendor Registration
  11. Register on CVE (Center for Veterans Enterprise, run by the VA): VetBiz Registry
  12. Volkswagen of America
  13. AEP
  14. Knox County Purchasing
  15. City of Knoxville
  16. Oak Ridge National Laboratory
  17. State of Tennessee Upcoming Procurement Opportunities July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 (PDF)
  18. Prepare a Capabilities Statement (Word document) 
  19. Make an appointment with KOSBE to meet with a representative of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), to begin researching specific opportunities to pursue.
