A KOSBE Award Winners Reunion Celebration

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) will host its Second Annual KOSBE Award Winners Reunion event, Breakfast of Champions on Friday, August 10 from 7:30 – 9 a.m., at Food City – Press Room, 300 Clinchfield Street, downtown, Kingsport.

This event is open to the public.

Attendees will hear from a panel of the industry’s local leading marketing pros via a, “Get Down to Business – Sales & Marketing Small Business Panel” where panelists will be sharing the latest trends, case studies, best practices and advice for small businesses no matter how big or small your business is.

Panelists include: Carolyn Pierson Cook, president/CEO, Absolute Communications; Chris Bowen, founder/CEO, Cumberland Marketing; David Cate, creative director, Times Digital Group and Steve Willinger, marketing advisor/facilitator, SCORE-Bristol.

In addition to the panel discussion, this is an excellent opportunity for networking and there will be a special recognition for past award winners.

“Marketing, sales and social media training classes are the most desired classes small business owners and entrepreneurs are asking for,” said Aundrea Wilcox, senior business counselor with the Tennessee Business Development Center at East Tennessee State University Kingsport Affiliate Office and executive director of KOSBE. “We are offering a very unique event by providing this valuable and insightful information from some of the most talented marketing professionals in our area – in one room!”

“Most importantly, we wanted to bring back our very popular reunion event to get our past winners together again and remind the public and business community who our winners are. The impact of these businesses on our local economy cannot be ignored,” continued Wilcox.

Cost to attend event is the cost of breakfast, $15 per person. The event is open to the public, Kingsport Chamber members and non-chamber members and all KOSBE clients and past winners are encouraged to attend. Attendees are asked to pay for their breakfast at the door. There is a special KOSBE breakfast buffet discount for $15 which includes your drink and tax.
