Pal's Business Excellence Institute Hosts Free Quality Forum Conference for Area Businesses

(Kingsport, Tenn.) Pal’s BEI president David McClaskey will deliver the keynote address at the Tri-Cities Quality Forum on October 9, from 8 a.m.¾ Noon at the Toy. F. Reid Eastman Employee Center in Kingsport. The forum, which is free and open to the public, will feature nine talks on “quality topics” to enhance business effectiveness.

McClaskey, widely known as an expert in quality management and one of the few individuals to have assisted seven companies to win eight Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards, including Pal’s Sudden Service and Eastman Chemical Company, will speak on “Designing Jobs and Training for 100% Right, 100% of the Time”. Attendees will learn about simple, yet effective processes to systematically use Baldrige quality principals to improve your company’s performance.

Healthcare and Medical Experts from four major healthcare organizations: Wellmont, MSHA, Mountain Home VA, and Sullivan County Regional Health Dept, will speak on key improvement projects that have helped each organization better achieve its mission.

Other topics include how to better interpret data, getting your organization started on a journey toward organizational excellence, and “How to Agreeably Make the Tough Decisions.
