Past KOSBE Award Winner Phil's Dream Pit Sponsors Flying Pig at 2014 Fun Fest

July 08, 2014

Kingsport, Tenn. —Seeking unique marketing opportunities that rise above all others, Phil’s Dream Pit has announced their sponsorship of Ham-Let, The Flying Pig, for 2014 Fun Fest, which is an annual event that was created as an effort to unite Kingsport, TN residents. According to local restaurant owner Phil Pipkin, “Ham-Let is sugar cured and sure to be a real ham with the crowd.” When asked about their recipe for success, the owners believe their BBQ is unmatched by any other restaurant in the area, because of the gentle smoking process, which creates tender, juicy, full-flavored meals. Phil’s wife, Dianna Pipkin, said, “And we really do have something for every appetite, including pulled pork, pork wings, beef brisket, baby back ribs, all beef hot dogs, chicken and homemade creamy chicken salad. And, we have just recently added smoked turkey and beef ribs to the menu.”

On Thursday, July 17th, Ham-Let will be inflated at the restaurant in preparation for participation in Fun Fest’s Breakfast with the Balloons, a traditional early morning balloon festival at the conclusion of Kingsport’s Fun Fest celebration. On site, Phil’s Dream Pit will provide samples of their famed pork wings and free lemonade. For pig enthusiasts, pig apparel will be available for purchase. Fun Fest Breakfast with the Balloons will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 5:00AM, at the intersection of Eastman Road and Center Street.
