KOSBE Announces 2015 KOSBE Impact Award Nominees

KINGSPORT, Tenn. –The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) today announced four nominees for the 21st Annual KOSBE Impact Award. At a special recognition event onThursday, December 10th, from 6 to 9 PM, at Meadowview Marriott in Kingsport, Tennessee, the winner will be revealed.

The Impact Award is specifically for an outstanding individual and small business advocate who has made an impact on the business scene through years of hard work. Impact Award nominations may only be made by current applicants and past winners.

The 2015 KOSBE Impact Awards nominees:

Brad Magnus, Brad Magnus Design – nominated by Wendy Wilgus, Prestige Aesthetics

Jeff Lane, Kingsport Credit Union – nominated bySherri Monroe, F&L Limo and Livery

Sherrie Bacon, Sher Extensions – nominated by Krista Wharton, Monkee’s of Johnson City

Tony Barton, TABCO, Inc. – nominated by Mack Fletcher, NatMat, Inc.

Tickets to the celebration event are $75 per person and must be purchased in advance in person at the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce or by visiting kosbeawards.org; tickets may also be purchased by calling (423) 392-8811. This event has been sold out for the past five consecutive years. Seating is limited and early ticket purchases are highly recommended. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. The public is invited to attend.
